“We believe that a well informed public possessing knowledge and understanding, as a potential developer or the end user, in these subject areas can readily make qualified decisions as to how they may participate or contribute to the expanding development and use of renewable energy and means of improving our environment.”
- Tommy Green, T-CO President

Our primary goal is to promote public awareness of bioenergy, as well as all forms of renewable energy, which is urgently needed world wide.

T-CO Alternative Fuels is always trying to push the envelope when trying to find new and interesting ways to expose the general public to the wonders of renewable energy. To do this we have created a variety of projects to use when explanation and educating the participants on renewable fuels and alternative energy sources.

One of the things we take advantage of is our leading-edge, communication platform. We have harnessed the power of the Internet so that T-CO, their clients and partners, have the ability to communicate globally using “Live, Two-Way Audio/Video communications”. Our platform allows us to link our presenters, guests, attendees, training center personnel and any other remote locations involved in to one easy to use resource.

More information about our Renewable Fuels Training Center and our Mobile Uplink Studio is available below, as well as on their respective pages. Read below for more information about our projects, both past and present.

T-CO Solid Fuel Furnace & Boiler System

Tommy Greene is President and CEO of T-CO Alternative Fuels, LLC. His innovative ideas have flourished in the bioenergy arena for over 25 years, dating back to the 1980’s with his Greene’s Clean Machine.

The Green Machine was a mobile, automatic feed, waste bio-fuel fired furnace and boiler system he engineered to produce heat energy. The system is designed to run off of a variety of clean burning solid waste biomass fuels such as renewable agricultural crop residue and pelletized waste biomass.

He, along with his team members, with input from product suppliers, rural development centers, and several universities, demonstrated his system in a “live” working model of what is believed to be “The World’s First Totally Energy Independent Farm Operation”. The live demonstration was the featured exhibit in the world renowned Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition in 1981. Read more about it.

T-CO Renewable Fuels Training Center

For the past two years, T-CO has created a leading-edge, communication platform which utilizes the Internet to allow T-CO, their clients and partners, the ability to communicate globally using “Live, Two-Way Audio/Video communications”.

Our training center provides a facility for both hands-on, and remote training, by experts in their field of renewable energy. Take this opportunity to learn from private industry, universities and entrepreneurs from throughout the world.

Our facility is unlike any other conference center you may consider. From computer labs to HDTV facilities, we have the right mix of staff, equipment and space to meet your needs.

Our training center is equipped with a high speed Internet connection, a video conferencing system, event production staff and an in-house Web production department to service all your needs. T-CO will help make your next seminar, presentation, webcast, meeting or demonstration a winner!

Our facility features the one-of-a-kind T-CO Clearview Processor™, a device which allows for visual observation of any current process happening in the tank. Learn more about our training center.

T-CO ClearView Processor™

The T-CO ClearView™ tank is designed to optimize the viewing and analysis of each critical stage of processing, as in this example, Biodiesel and its by-products. In addition to being a fabulous learning tool, its ‘transparent’ design permits viewing the demonstration of a multitude of variables that are available in processing Biodiesel, i.e., different feedstock, reactants, catalysts, etc. Additionally, it is adaptive to different methods of washing, heating and drying procedures.

T-CO Mobile Uplink Studio

The T-CO Mobile Uplink Studio was designed and built so that we could expand our coverage of energy related events. Earlier this year, Tommy Greene, T-CO’s President, decided it was time that we step-up our event coverage by adding the Mobile Uplink Studio to our arsenal of information coverage and distribution tools.

To date, the Mobile Uplink Studio has attended several events in Alabama and Georgia including: the Algae Fuel Summit held in Opelika, Alabama and the 2008 Southeastern Bioenergy Conference in Tifton, Georgia.

Growing Algae

Tommy designed and built this unique tank to be used with T-CO’s algae fuels research projects. We plan for this project to be on going and one through which we can all learn together the basic object is to find the answer to these most frequently asked questions:

1) Is it practical or economically feasible for an individual or small company to grow algae for fuels for their own use?
2) Can you simply go out to a local pond in your area dip up some algae, grow it and make fuels from it?
3) What is the most efficient and economical method of harvesting algae on a small scales?
4) What is the best method of converting algae into bio-fuels on a small scale?

Do we already know the answers to these questions?
No we don’t; however, we will never know if we don’t start somewhere. Through this project we can all learn together

T-CO The Eco-Friendly Frog

We developed the T-CO frog video to use as a teaching tool for elementary school training modules.

T-CO believes young minds are like sponges. They soak up everything they see or hear. We also believe, that if a child is taught to understand the concepts of renewable energy at a young age then that it will become second nature to them when they get older.

The “T-CO Frog” was developed to make learning fun and exciting. The “T-CO Frog” video demonstrates one method of water washing biodiesel. We use the video to illustrate that bio-diesel is biodegradeable, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.

Green Green Terrace Project

Our goal is to construct the world’s first environmental friendly, energy independent, tech savvy, “First Quality”, multi-service living complex designed especially for senior adults.
